Here's the latest little project. A-5, MP5SD shroud, I cut off the "silencer" section and made my own out of Aluminum tubing. The back, black plastic piece in pic. #1 & #2 is a 1 3/4" piece of Delrin I cut and drilled to fit on, it's held on with set screw just like the outter shroud. The barrel is a 8" LAPCO Apex ready big shot. I may make another one later one, I was rushing this one trying to get it all done in the last two days. Stupid vice marks on the side annoy me. Oh, and I know, I'm missing the front A-5 site, gotta get a new one.

It's going to look even better with a Metadyne sliding stock and Mag. Thanks for looking hope you enjoy!

On with the Pics!!!

I probably will. I was rushing trying to get this done for NAM. I ended up having gun problems with my primary marker and didn't even try using this one. It would've been the first time using it for real and I wasn't looking to push my luck.

I went to the chrono with three different markers on Saturday... Luckily 2 of them worked.

I've got to say I'm VERY impressed with the Metadyne stuff. I took off the Opsgear mag and put this one on, soooo much better, in form and function.

Thanks for the goods UOA!!!!!!!!

Looks awesome man!
Really like the look!
The Metadyne parts are soooooooooo much lighter!!
And then you can open it up and drop parts on the inside of the mag!

LOVE the APEX shroud. I've got to admit, in the first pictures I was a little iffy about it all, but once you got it all together, that is one gorgeous rig! Very clean!

What did you use for the tube around the APEX?

A piece of aluminum tubing, IIRC it's 1 3/4" id x 1/8" wall thickness. I drilled and tapped the aluminum tube for two set screws to hold it on.
