I understand both sides, my problem is (Joe coughs nervously, while kicking at the dirt like a small child) I have family in insurance, and I'm also involved in running games so I also know the 3rd and 4th side and it just makes all the ref's jobs harder if its easier to change the 'fire type' on the fly.
Guess I just wanted a little whine with my breakfast this morning.
Maybe the switches will push some of the bigger fields to push for no limit on auto/semi/ramp from their insurers which would in turn make it easier for the smaller guys (although in the end with taxes, Insurance, up keep, etc. I don't think many field owners are going to be rich) if they speak with their money and move it to another company that may do biz with them.
Personally I own a mini and my wife owns an ego, and we've both capped them at 10 bps. LOL. And I plan on going slower I just bought a cocker to build a pump so (don't think i'm gonna be pumping 10 bps anytime soon). So, unless it's speedball, I guess I don't understand shooting 4 cases a day or more in the woods as I have seen some do.
Hope that all makes sense just typing as I think (and that's a real scary thing), and always remember if I ever say anything in type that makes you say what the...? ASK!
But, as far as insurance companies go, see the following video:
