you know halo, i had meant to ask you but forgot.... the mag body, whats the OD on it? Looks about the same as the Ion firing can assembly, which is 1.25"... Just wondering since someday I'd like to do an M4 Ion in a similar fashion to what you've done here.

OD? Olive Drab? Overall Diameter? I don't know what it means lol. From googling "automag OD" I found that it is "1.125" OD. Does that answer it? Sorry lol.

yeah overall diameter was what I was looking for.... hmmm ion is 1.25... how tight does the mag body fit in there?

It fits in the tubular area of the receiver nice and snugly if you sand it down good enough.

I've seen a thread on MSEP about Ion M16 modding and from what I remember, I think an ion wouldent fit. But not sure, I have to go find that thread.
