Hi everybody since airsoft is catching on more and more and its so much more economical than paintball, and you can have pretty much anything you want and slap anything on it(not to mention smaller. lighter, and faster, being more true to life) or how you can play almost anywhere with no mess no fuss, and not attract as much attention, carry less gear, etc etc, a friend and i had the bright idea that we would start a group on myspace for anyone who wants to get together and play, plan or just B-S about it in NORTH JERSEY because its so damned hard to find people into airsoft anywhere, let alone NJ. I'm trying to spread the word so we can get activated and start playin more AS/PB. or hell, just find people that are into it. its nothin serious just a B-S attempt at trying to organize something. Its a new group with all of 4 members atm, so tell anyone you think might be interested. Thanks very much, Matt.
The group is called Airsoft NNJ(Airsoft North New Jersey)
if you're into AS/SPB and in the area join up so its easier to coordinate.

I don't know if you guys travel--but I know that on occasion there are airsoft battles at Camp Blanding in FLorida--let me know and I'll keep an eye out for any upcoming games and let you know. _________________ Team X-TinXtion

that's not an obstacle--didn't know you were 15, but talk the parents into a family vacation to Disney world, then add the game in as a bonus. Trust me we have plenty of Canadians down all year doing the "tourist" traps so whats the damage in adding an airsoft game in. Good luck with it, never hurts to ask. _________________ Team X-TinXtion

I'm not quite sure where you're getting that part... Airsoft should only EVER be played on a sanctioned field dedicated to that purpose. In all honesty the same holds true for paintball as well, but when you're carrying along dead-to-rights replicas of real weapons, you should not be playing "anywhere". Just over the last month I've seen 3 articles pop up on various forums about airsofters who were almost shot by police because they were playing in areas they shouldn't have been. Its unfortunate, but in todays climate playing "outlaw" airosft is MUCH more dangerous than playing outlaw paintball. _________________ Jay Bruzaitis AKA Rogue

Chidori sorry for the confusion but we're in the same boat as you, we hardly ever play at all. thats why i decided to jump out on this limb and give a myspace group a go.
Angel-Ripper we don't travel unfortunately our budgets won't allow us to even play PB on a regular basis. We're just tryin to get a group of people in the general area togfether to screw around. Only then consider making trips to the UOA field.
Absolutely Rogue, you're right on all accounts. But "no mess/fuss less attention"is referring to ease of transportation, paintcleanup and no report. The dangers have been accounted for, we have safe areas of play available as well as private fields on land owned by a very good friend of mine. _________________ formerly Matt700300winmag
