Hey Guys,
We were at OTP Saturday during army day, Jon, Ray and myself. Somewhere in the middle of the day I completely lost the desire to play paintball, and actually left early. I can't explain it. Maybe it had something to do with all the stuuf I had on my mind, maybe it has to do with the fact that I can't justify the cost anymore with the rising prices of all my bills, or maybe its cause we have been having SO MANY problems with our guns its just disheartening. I have no idea, and really right now it wouldn't bother me if I didn't play for a while. Sorry guys just venting.........   :? :?:

Bombs are very accurate. They have a 100% chance of hitting the ground.

Try some other guns. I'll assume you're shooting a tippmann, they are forever giving our guys grief. Ask Rogue, he's had a serious case of cyclone hate lately.

I rarely ever have problems with my Tac One or my Dangerous Power F8. The F8 is amazing, shoots any kind of crap paint you stick in it, and I can shoot a whole case off of 68ci 4500psi tank.

I'm making it my mission in life to find a way to mount a BT rip clip in place of a tippmann cyclone. Even with every mod in the book its still a POS. Everyone talks about tippmann reliability, well, I call shennanigans! I've NEVER had my Ion go down, not even once (except the one time I didn't know how to bottom out the new CP reg i'd just installed and put 800 psi through a noid only meant to handle 200.... oops). But yeah, there have been those times when I just get so fed up with things that I think about hanging it up.... but I can't let my boys down, and bad times always turn to good ones eventually... It doesn't help that you guys play at OTP with those cheating SOBs all the time either ;)

Yea I've considered ditching my tippman for something else but right now finances are really tight, so I just got to go with what i have.... Yea I do get annoyed by those that are dishonest, we obviously know who they are...... I don't think I'm done permanetly just probably going to break for a while though. I will be skipping tribal conquest this weekend also, the shame is that i had been looking forward to it until this past weekend....

Honestly, for a GOOD change of pace try Cousins in Manchester. It's not that far away from OTP and I've never had a bad day there. The prices are good and the fields too!

The Dark Ops games are really good. Great practice for larger scenarios.

u want my honest opinion... the same thing happened to me, but it was work instead of paintball...., i love my job, but i was getting tired, exhausted and frustrated so i took a long vacation.... take a break. stop playing for a while, then come back to play, and i am sure u will fall in love all over again...

Dont be so down on yourself everyone has problems that make them loose focus at work, in life, or even on the field. I use paintball as a stress releiver and when i do that i feel so good at the end of the day. Cousins in manchester is a pretty good field me and my guys are planning to go there on sunday Jun 29th i have an ion that i have as a loner your more than welcome to play with us and use the marker.

Hey guys thanks for all the comments I have just stepped back and chilled for a while. I think i found the answer to all my gear problems, although i have not gotten them yet. I would seriously consider NJNAM next week if i didn't have a prior engagement. Well I look forward to seeing you guys on the field again and those that i have yet to play with we shall soon enough. Maybe I'll take you up on the 29th not sure yet but will consider

Cromp-I know what you're talking about. The best way for me to describe this is paint ball is like marriage--sex is great at first, then good, then alright, then eventually becomes to much work to be enjoyable. After so many years it all blends in together as blah--what you have is known as the itch whether it be the 1,3,5,7 year variety. Quit letting the outside stresses of life like finances, business, relationship issues, kids, and an assortment of other crap to ruin the fun you derive from shooting paint--maybe change venues, styles, or something, but whatever you do find that "Viagra" that returns the fun back into the game.

Sorry for the Dr. Phil-Ruth type advice, this like any other sport is one of complete devotion and love, not for the weak and easily persuaded. Ty just running a game with only a handful of paint-like the older days with only 40 rds a game--changes the intensity with a quickness.
