Urban Ops Tactical

On July 12th On Target will be hosting thier Firestorm Crusades Scenario event. Of course the Urban Ops crew will be out there in support of OTP and the event. Hopefully we'll see many of you out there as well, so long as you havent made the trip up to ION for the weekend.

We havn't talked about this yet so not real sure waht we're doing. We'll be sure to let everyone know.

We would def go....but we already committed to ION

Hopefully we can join you guys at another scenario soon

I will be pushing my fellow team members to go to this event, we should have a good turn out...

GENERAL FIELD RULES.. On Target Paintball


1) Observe the "goggles on" signs, goggles are to be worn in all areas not designated safe. You will only have 3 warnings before you are asked to leave.

2) Barrel bags must be on at all times unless you are playing. Your barrel bags must never be off in any safe area, infractions will not be tolerated.

3) The Staging and Parking areas are designated safe zones, no firing of any kind is permitted in these areas at any time.

4) Horseplay and reckless acts will not be tolerated, this is your only warning.

5) Field Chronograph speed is 280 FPS or less, all players must chronograph their guns to this speed or under.you get 1 warning, check your marker often to avoid SHOOTING HOTas you will be responsible for your own actions..`

6.) Park your vehicle at your own risk! Paintballs may find their way to your car!



Field Playing Rules


1) Only referees can stop a game.

2) Ref’s rulings stand, do not argue with the refs.

3) Any hit the size of a thumbnail(nickel size) counts, gun included.

4) If you are a hit say "Hit ", "out" or "Dead Person", raise your gun over your head get off the field to the dead box.

5) If you think you are hit and cannot see it call a ref for a paint check. or ask your teammate. Cheating will not be tolerated.

6) No Overshooting, any more than 3 hits on a player is lame.

7) No faking injuries to gain position, if you injure yourself report it tothe ref so you can get medical attention.

Guns are to be semi or pump type only, no burst or full auto modes permitted. Electronic triggers are to be set on semi only for insurance reasons. ( Goggles are tested for one ball hitting the lens. Safety is key! No ramp, no response, 1 pull = 1 ball.

9) Cheating/wiping is not acceptable. If you are caught you will be made a point of, in front of the other players. Nobody likes cheaters. After first warning we will ask you to leave our establishment.

10) If your goggles come off/fall off during a game, lay on your stomach and cover your face and head with your arms and yell for a ref. Protect your eyes and face.

11) No moving bunkers or spools on the field, they must be played as is.

12)No hiding behind refs and/or "Dead Persons".No Dead mans walks!

13) No weapons/tools are permitted on the field of any kind. ( allen keys,knives etc.)

14) OTP is not responsible for lost objects, so do not take anything on the field that you are not willing to lose.

15) Surrender rule is optional, we encourage the surrender rule at under 10 feet due to the number of young kids that play but if your opponent does anything other than raise his/her gun when asked to surrender……shoot them! Some players will try to turn and shoot it out, so be ready!

For those of you wishing to camp the night before, camping will open at 3:00 pm on Friday July 11th. You must be 18 or have a parent or guardian with you to camp!!!!!!

No Problem. Any more questions about the Firestorm Events and I'm your man. I'll be checking in here at least daily, if not more often LOL.

There should also be some firewood available, although we will have to wait and see how dry the weather is, because, as I always say I prefer to keep it the Firestorm Crusades Paintball game, and not the Great Firestorm Crusades Fire of 2008!!!!!

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like any of our guys can make it tomorrow. I'd loved to have gone, but I'm trying to get out of the parental's house, so getting some OT to put some money away trumps paintball at the moment. Good luck out there to everybody who does attend, looks like the weather should be pretty decent for you at least.
