how big(as in size) do you think an airsoft fight should be?

if you know the mercy rule, whats a good distance?

Hey, I don't know a whole lot about "airsoft" mercy rules but to me I believe the choice to surrender is always up to the target until the barrel tags them--at least that is how it works in paint ball. I like the 10 foot rule, it allows for a more intimate encounter--not to sound sadistic but in alot of "scenario cities" 10 foot is generous at times.
The link is to an air soft canada forum on that same subject--other than that I'm not really sure to be honest.

thnx, im asking cuz allot of places in winnipeg, their mercy rule is 2 feet and most peoples guns are around 450 fps wich would hurt that close.

OOCH--at 2 ft. I would fight and I know alot of others who would follow suit. Them little plastic balls sting like hell!!! Nope --not happening more than once!!!!

if the person doesnt show signs that he or she is going to give up i shoot, becuz im not taken the chance of them being unsporting and capin me. i also use a sniper rifle shooting at about 410fps and if i get close i just pull up my pistol thats only about 300-320fps. and if i am useing my sniper rifle and im spotted at close range if i cant retreat and i know im going to get hit in seconds i just give. M700 vs. M249 at 5ft....who do you think is going to win haha
